Be suspicious of unqualified freedoms
Recently I read a blog post from the creator of Ruby on Rails titled I won’t let you pay me for my open source. On the whole it’s a good text about having a healthy relationship to your open source projects, but it also contains a common missconception about copyleft licenses such as the GPL family.
